Project Coordinator
Los Angeles, CA
Diego Rentería has two goals: uplifting disadvantaged communities and addressing the atomization of society through public space. He believes that well-designed and safe public spaces in close proximity are a right for all. Diego's practice is informed by his background in sociology, urban history, landscape architecture, and water infrastructure. Diego was born and raised in South Gate, a working class city neighboring Los Angeles, by his immigrant Mexican parents. He has an AB from Harvard University and studied for dual master's degrees in city planning and landscape architecture and environmental planning at UC Berkeley.
