PROJECTS

In collaboration with North East Trees and the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles, we are gathering early engagement ideas for 2 key sites in the neighborhood that will undergo landscape renovation. These landscape renovations will be lead by community input and involve the greening of an existing park in the Pueblo del Rio housing facilities, including the WellNess Station Community Center. Both of these sites will see an increased canopy coverage with the goal of water conservation, ecological capacity building for local residents, and the use of drought-tolerant and California native-planting, and green stormwater infrastructure that can support water capture towards a healthier watershed. 

These projects are funded through Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, and the California Natural Resources Agency, and working closely in collaboration with North East Trees.
