PROJECTS

In collaboration with Tamika Butler Consulting, RIOS, and Primestor, the Urban Studio has been tasked with bringing on board 6 Action Team members to support the early information gathering phase for a new Watts Community Space. These 6 Action Team members are key leaders in their communities and participate in capacity building workshops to become effective facilitators during public community meetings. They also play an instrumental role in bringing the community to the table to make decisions collaboratively. Outreach and engagement has been flyer distribution, and site activation events, Public Meetings have been hosted virtually over zoom.
